As we approach the end of summer, here's what I'm reminded of...
Life is simple. The ones we love have such simple needs. It's often the people, the stuff, the schedules that we make for ourselves, and our families, that make life feel complicated. Summer teaches us to slow down. But I believe fall, winter, and spring also have the same beautiful lessons. We just let the complications get in the way. We decide. And the good news is just that, "we decide".
Have you been watching these Crosswalk the musicals?... my daughter and I think you are missing out if not.
If you are finding yourself with some free time here's a huge list of ways you can organize back to school.
Life simplicity goals - her list is so good!
This game was played all week long at the beach. We love it camping also.
We are about to leave for our last adventure of the summer and I'm challenging myself to pack as light as possible. I've realized that my makeup/toiletries take up so much space. I've simplified to this bag and will use these instead of bringing full-size tubes of lotions etc.
Seattle here we come! Our love for the PNW runs deep. We plan to see family, hopefully find cooler weather, and explore the islands of the San Juans by boat.
I hope your summer has been the most lovely one yet!
