Welcome New beginnings!
Our family is still coming down from the vacation high of our spring break road trip to New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah! PVB (or Post Vacation Blues) is a thing y’all! It took us a week - but we recovered and are feeling the positive spring vibes around us! I’ve missed this little space. I’ll be writing more about this, but this is the last year I have my little one at home before Kindergarten and I’m taking all the time possible to soak him up! I’ve been giving a lot of thought on how I’ll want to manage my time once all my babies are in school. It’s not the lack of ideas. I actually feel I may have dreamed up too many passion projects. My personality is a match for several ongoing projects. I like to keep things interesting - as long as it’s stress-free and self-regulated. I believe that’s what’s important in the work and services we do, keeping it true to oneself.
I also strongly believe in breaking stereotypes.
If you are NOT reading this during bedtime hours this is funny.
I would strongly approve of my kids striking for the environment.
Thankful for refreshing podcasts like this. I think it’s important to realize how our perception is distorted by headlines.
This week a massage therapist told me I need to do yoga to help loosen my muscles. I think I’ve figured out I’m an introvert when it comes to my workouts. But I love instruction, so I’m always on the hunt for new workout videos. This one will be my new Yoga go to!
One year ago I wrote about our family meeting and a few of you have shared with me the impact this has made on your family so I’m linking again so it doesn’t get too lost in this space.
One topic for discussing in our family meeting this week is the opportunity to earn some cash with spring cleaning. I printed off this list as inspiration for each of us.
